SISYPHEAN - Signs With Transcending Obscurity Records

Transcending Obscurity Records, quite picky when it comes to the black metal genre, is richer for another band - Lithuania's Sisyphean. A deal was signed earlier this year, but Transcending Obscurity Records waited for a brand new artwork to be created for the Colours Of Faith album, set for release in 2022. Cover art, as well as the first released track of the album, "Scorched Timeless", awaits you below.

The band proclaims: "The preparation cycle is reaching the climax - Colours Of Faith is nearing a release and it will be handled by Transcending Obscurity Records. We're glad to be joining their versatile roster of underground bands such as Replicant, Crypts Of Despair, Vahrzaw and more!"

The band also comments on "Scorched Timeless": "This song is an observation of the silent external forces that drive everything around us. We usually imply that we are born into a constrained world with a variety of supposedly natural laws. The pressures that shape them are rarely challenged or even questioned. 'Scorched Timeless' considers these factors by posing an existential dilemma: Whose creative thought is to be accused for this surrounding firmament?"

Colours Of Faith is the band's sophomore album. It was recorded in Vicarious Recording, mixed by Satanic Audio (Behemoth, Thaw, Blaze of Perdition) and mastered by Resonance Sound (Cruciamentum, Absu, Father Befouled). The cover artwork was created by Nightjar art of Adam Burke. Link
