Portuguese blackened death metal act WinterMoonShade reveals more details of its upcoming sophomore album Eternal Haunted Shores set for release on 25 February via Art Gates Records. And, just recently, another video for a track taken from the upcoming full-length has been unleashed. Dreamy "Wolf Whispering Dream" awaits you below.
WinterMoonShade's music is inspired by nature and spirituality, creating a journey between dusk and dawn, the brilliant sight and darkness converging into its own sound. As for influences, artists such as Cradle Of Filth, Moonspell, Wardruna or Heilung are these metalheads' main influences.
Eternal Haunted Shores was recorded by Haze, produced by Haze, Fenrir and Zefir, mixed and mastered by Sérgio Prata. Cover art is a creation of Haze.
WinterMoonShade on Eternal Haunted Shores: "It was a great challenge to start composing and later the recording process of the Eternal Haunted Shores album that will see the light of day on 25 February. The band was still promoting the self-titled debut album, though already with new ideas for a new phase. Our wishes to play live and present our previous material didn't realize due to the last couple of years' worldwide situation, so the decision was to continue working on a whole new record without ever playing on an actual concert. The first song composed for this new chapter was Eternal Haunted Shores, and for that, we named the brand new work the same. The album's nine tracks all point to a dark atmosphere that we wish the listeners to enjoy as a trip through a vast musical landscape." Link
