Finnish melancholic progressive metal unit Amorphis will release in two days, on 11 February via Atomic Fire Records, their highly anticipated new album Halo, concluding the band's current album trilogy with a worthy finale. Videographer Sam Jamsen visited the Finns in the studio to film a documentary about the making of Halo. The band now unveils the fourth episode in which singer Tomi Joutsen speaks about the vocal recordings with Jonas Olsson and Jens Bogren, discusses why he used more growls on this record, and how Pekka Kainulainen's lyrics came together.
In other news, Amorphis will tour North America in support of Halo this spring! The tour begins on 13 April in New York City and will make its way through nearly two dozen cities, coming to a close on 12 May in Baltimore, Maryland. Support will be provided by Sylvaine and Hoaxed.
