UK based electro/dark pop/post-punk duo Scenius is about to release a new live EP entitled Live in Angers on the 27th of May. Following the critical acclaim and worldwide radio plays received by their debut album, Scenius - initially a studio project - have become a live band. Their first official gig took place in Angers, France, on the 30th of March 2022. It was recorded and filmed - on a static single camera. This EP brings you four tracks taken from this gig.
Scenius perpetuates the art of making electronic dark pop out of vintage synths and rhythm machines, blending the spirit and sounds of early electronic outfits (Kraftwerk, Eno, Depeche Mode, OMD) with a clearly modern approach. The duo is composed of UK producer Steve Whitfield (The Cure, The Mission, Yann Tiersen, Klammer,...) and French singer Fab Nau. Check out the live video for the track "Cookie Cutter" below. Link
