Ultar is a five-piece band from the heart of Siberia, Krasnoyarsk town, placed amidst the howling woods and red mountains. In genre terms, the band could be considered a sonic alchemist, blending ingredients from black metal, post-metal, and shoegaze, with a talent for creating dramatic melodies having an emotional intensity and staying power.
The band's first two albums, Kadath and Pantheon MMXIX, have received highly positive feedback from all over the world, not only from the listeners but also from the media.
