Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) based synthpop/darkwave band Quântico Romance launches via Paranoia Musique its new single "Desejo E Luxúria" (engl. Desire And Lust). Between the weight of distorted guitars and the electronic sequencers' trance, Quantico Romance brings in "Desejo E Luxúria", the drama of a sinner who tormented by memories of a promiscuous life and steeped in concupiscence, recreates in himself the myth of the fallen angel by temptation. In a legitimate final act of love, the sinner gives himself in sacrifice by allowing himself to be hacked to death for his lost love.
The new single consists of two versions of the song "Desejo E Luxúria". The tracks were written and produced by Karlos Junior and feature Jaqueline Valles as the second voice and Rento Pinheiro on guitars.
Quântico Romance was formed and is led by Karlos Junior and includes Bruno Dorian (drums, backing vocals), and Simon Travaglini (guitars). Influenced by the great names of the 80s electronic universe (Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys,...) and its futuristic retro sound, Quântico Romance (even in its short life) has been highlighted in some important online festivals such as Caxias Music Festival (alongside Finis Africae and Zero) among others.
