ANGELSPIT - Unleashes New Single/Video

The USA-based cyberpunk/industrial act Angelspit has unleashed a new single/video, "The Greatest Trick", a high-speed burning collision between an electro-punk rock and cyber mayhem. Ultra distorted blaster beam (electric guitar hybrid - 6 foot long 11 strings), samples, vocals and lyrics - continuing the old-school Industrial approach to destroying music! The mayhem driving "The Greatest Trick" creates something new and dangerous.

Angelspit's Zoog Von Rock states: "The track is built around the sample of a cooking pot rocking on a wall hook - yup, a rocking saucepan! Its pitch was lowered and distorted - giving a dirty, grainy sound. The sample's pitch and rhythm became the backbone of the track. The Blasterbeam was literally bashed to create total mayhem. George Bikos at Baysound Studios ran the Blaster Beam through his huge collection of guitar amps to make it sound massive! 'God' and 'The Devil' mentioned in the lyrics is referring to technology and the absolute power it has over us. It is addictive and self-destructive".

Angelspit has released over 25 albums and produced nearly 80 remixes for other bands over the last 19 years. Its unique vision, independent innovation and attitude towards its craft have inspired countless artists to find their own voice. With each release, Angelspit strives for the highest quality and attention to detail, while continuing to reinvent itself in unexpected ways  Angelspit hosts a free weekly gathering encouraging people to keep making their art during these trying times.
