USA based gothic rock/industrial duo Abbey Death started a crowdfunding campaign for the release of their debut album titled Gravesend on Kickstarter platform. The band was formed in 2013 by Valerie Abbey (The Cruxshadows, Black Tape For A Blue Girl, Angelspit) and Filip Abbey "Abbey Nex" (Psyclon Nine, Combichrist, and Genitorturers), both being musicians for the goth - industrial circuit for the past 10 plus years and decided to create a band of our own. Abbey Death released their first digital only EP Realignment in January of 2016 (you can check it out at Bandcamp).
The band commented: "We are ever so excited to announce our Kickstarter campaign to help bring the 1st Abbey Death full length to the masses! Our album will be called Gravesend, after our beloved neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY. We need all the the love and support you're willing to give us. We plan on giving this album everything we got, this includes amazing new songs, awesome new artwork, new videos and just putting excellence in all the details."
