Portuguese black metal outfit Nethermancy has set 21 April as the release date of its fourth album, Worship Evil Sacrifice, to be out via Helldprod Records in CD format.
Being around for the last 27 years, Nethermancy matured its path over time and created its own abyss whilst surviving the demonic sulphur intrinsic erosion and now returns from the darkest tumultuous depths and, with its fully flaming alchemy, unleashes a new diabolical arrow - Worship Evil Sacrifice.
Clearly a step forward from its previous works and, being this the fourth album from the band, Nethermancy starts a new cycle regarding its musical approach. Worship Evil Sacrifice marks a relentless progression into the malevolent coldness underneath the pits of the inferno. Within each song, there's enough aggression, rawness, dimness, vileness, and evilness to carve this potion as a glorious black metal juggernaut where tradition reigns supreme, as it should be, honouring the genre roots from Bathory to Venom and Hellhammer but also blinking the eye of madness to the new wave icons such as Emperor, Immortal or Marduk.
It's inside this sphere that each of these names returns from the ashes of time to give birth to the new flesh of the ancient ones. No faces, only flames until everything becomes cold as ice. Within 30 minutes, Nethermancy will take you to its eight circles of hell to crystalize your soul and abrupt your carnality beyond dust as Worship Evil Sacrifice gathers the hoofmarks and the thorns to raise the beast horns into gods realm!
