German dark metal band Eden Weint Im Grab has offered the second single/video, "Tentakel der Angst", from its forthcoming ninth album, Apocalypse Galore, set for release on 24 March via Einheit Produktionen.
The video is an experiment, as the visual artist theARTer, who is also behind the satirical metal project Sataninchen, was asked to freely interpret the song in his own way. The result is an elaborately animated 3D video that shows a surrealistic underwater world that is just as mysterious as the song's lyrics. Not a classic band video, but more of an artistic mini-film, adding new layers of meaning to the dark lyrics.
