Polish darkwave/synthwave duo Stridulum has released its sophomore full-length, Paradigm, via Manic Depression Records.
Paradigm is a new chapter in the history of Stridulum. The duo, consisting of Marita Volodina (voice/words) and Arkadiy Berg (all instruments), guided by various inspirations, has created an album that still fits perfectly into the dark wave niche and yet has huge radio potential. Listening to these insanely catchy and diverse songs is an extraordinary emotional experience.
Layers of synthesizers from Arkadiy's fingers seem to flow between musical conventions, drawing handfuls from many genres.
