Finnish symphonic black metal outfit Deimhal has dropped the first single/lyric video, "Malice", from its upcoming second EP, set for release in the winter.
A freshly formed Deimhal emerges from the shadows of Tuusula-Helsinki, Finland, meticulously crafted by Mika Tönning, a seasoned veteran known for his work with renowned underground bands such as Catamenia, Creinium, and Dawn Of Relic. The band self-released its debut EP, The Grand Gathering, in May.
"Malice" represents Deimhal's experimental side, featuring symphonic synths, a fusion of raw lead and power metal vocals, blast beat drums, and melodic guitar and bass parts. The lyrics delve into themes of human inner darkness and societal evil, reflecting on the increasing inclination of people towards darkness in their daily lives.
