Today, Norwegian darkgaze/metal band Vemod released its sophomore full-length, The Deepening, via Prophecy Productions.
Vemod's mastermind, Jan Even Åsli, comments: "After the longest creation process in our history as a band, it is a bit difficult to believe that The Deepening is finally out in the world, ready to be shared with anyone who might be interested in what it has to offer - yet now it is. This album encompasses much of what we have gone through over these last years. Hopefully, it will resonate in the hearts and minds of others out there as well. The Deepening points to the past, the present, and the future; to the within and the without; to the vast landscapes between thought and feeling. From this point in time, we move on - further, deeper – into this mystery that we call life. We wish you all the best".
