SCHEITAN - Drops Third Single/Video From Forthcoming Album

Swedish gothic act Scheitan has dropped the third single, "Believe", from its eagerly anticipated album, Songs For The Gothic People, set for release in May 2024 by the Greek independent label The Circle Music.

The single draws inspiration from a vibrant tempo and groove of contemporary tracks, notably influenced by Ghost's "Call Me Little Sunshine". This influence is a testament to the band's adaptive and explorative approach to music-making, drawing from the pool of current prominent songwriters.

The lyrics of "Believe" present a multifaceted interpretation. On one surface, it appears as a personal creed, yet it also mirrors a broader, collective belief system that, despite its claims to divinity and benevolence, contrasts sharply with the global realities of conflict and discord. This duality in interpretation invites listeners to reflect on the deeper meanings and implications of faith and belief in today's context.

With the album fully recorded and mastered, Scheitan is poised to share this new body of work with fans and a wider audience. The band is also slated to perform live in 2024, with confirmed dates including a premiere show in Athens, Greece, at the Temple Club on 15 June and a performance near their hometown of Luleå in late August.
