UK outfit Purson - whose music touches a variety of realms, including folk, prog, psychedelic, gothic and classic rock, blending other-worldly romance with shadowy foreboding – have now completed work on Desire's Magic Theatre, which will be released through Spinefarm Records in spring 2016. The band now revealed the first single from their forthcoming studio album, the track titled "Electric Landlady", is accompanied by a striking kaleidoscope of a lyric video, created by Craig Gowans and you can watch and listen to it in the player below.
The band – Rosalie Cunningham (vocals, guitars), George Hudson (guitars), Justin Smith (bass), Sam Shove (keyboards) and Raphael Mura (drums) – are currently touring the US with occult rockers Ghost, having just won the coveted 'Vanguard' award at the 2015 Progressive Music Awards in London. The Vanguard award is particularly significant as it is awarded to artists who deserve to be recognised for their broader appeal. Link
