Italian black metallers Homselvareg have announced their new album will be released in February 2016 via Sliptrick records. Formed in 2004 under the name Underworld and later changed into Homselvareg, the name refers to a legendary creature: Homo Salvadego. A partially human mythological character, predator child of nature. And from nature, with whom he lives in perfect harmony, the wildling Homo Salvadego draws all its strength... The cryptic name of the band, taken from an obscure legend spread throughout the mountain region of the Alps, refer to the absolute antagonism to the human race and civilization of which Homselvareg have become standard bearers. Over the years, Homselvareg shared the stage with the likes of Kult, Death Dies, Tumulus Anmatus, Frangar and many others amongst the Italian black metal scene as well as international metal such as Shining, Huldrefolk and The Stone.
