German black metallers Thyrgrim will play some selected Special Depressive Shows. Now the band has revealed first details for these special events. Mastermind Kain explains the backgrounds for the idea to this shows: "Depression has always been a part of my life and therefore for my music as well. For this reason, we decided to play some well-selected special shows for the first time in 2016, where only depressive songs will be played."
Musically, Thyrgrim will present songs from all steps of their band history, which fit into the concept both atmospherically and lyrically. Besides songs that are featured regularly in the band's setlists such as "Der Weg", "Gezeiten" or "Sterbend 1 2", there will be also rare material – even a song released 12 years ago, when Thyrgrim was sill known as Kältetod - "Wenn es schneit". To honour this event also on an optical level, the band will wear a proper wardrope on stage. The first special depressive show will take place on 7th May 2016 at the Dark Troll Festival, when Thyrgrim will bring the festival to an atmospherical end as last band on Saturday night.
