Austrian female fronted gothic metallers Darkwell are now a part of Massacre Records family! The gothic rock/metal band from Austria is - including a brief hiatus - around since the turn of the millennium (1999), and has already released 2 studio albums and one EP, debut album Suspiria in 2000, the EP Conflict Of Interest in 2002 and Metat[r]on in 2004.
They already toured through Europe with bands like Tristania, Leaves' Eyes, Graveworm or Vintersorg, among others, and played at festivals like the Wave Gotik Treffen, Summer Breeze or Eurorock, to name just a few. Darkwell's aim and motivation is to play vivid and profound gothic metal. The band members' sophisticated musicianship is reflected in the band's strong compositions and mature arrangements.
