Unexplained Sounds Group has unveiled Iran Experimental Underground compilation and is streaming two tracks. I have the pleasure of speaking with Morego Dimmer of Nyctalllz and XERXES The Dark who has helped orchestrate the project. Morego took a moment to explain a little bit about the background of the album Iran Experimental Underground 016 Survey. Here is what he had to say:
"In May I contacted Unexplained Sounds Group label and asked them for a possible release focusing on Iranian experimental electro artists, USG accepted my proposal and after 1 month of open call, and receiving the songs, we managed the album, otherwise we got good support from Tehran Annual Digital Arts Exhibition (TADAEX), and the album shall be presented in TADAEX 2016 (September). I think Iran has too many talented artists that work with minimum support, minimum budget and musical equipment; but they produce in high standards and release their songs with great record labels worldwide, although many of them can not receive any money from outside labels because they have no Paypal account (boycott's shit)!!! but they believe in their art, their way and their talents... I wish someday that Iranian artists can receive much more attention and support from outside and inside Iran, I think this album can strongly shows the potential inside Iran. Many foreign labels and artists have radical sight about Iranian artists, and unfortunately some of them disrespect us... but we talk with our music and act with our art..."
