Flowers For Bodysnatchers have just announced Love Like Blood the companion to Aokigahara, released last year. After a brilliantly dark and emotional release last year with Aokigahara, Flowers For Bodysnatchers wasted no time returning with a second helping of sadness and despair from his incursion through Tokyo and the surrounding areas. It seems that we should expect more of a similar style to Aokigahara, and with that being one of the most memorable albums in dark ambient from 2015, there should be no one upset by this continuation. Cryo Chamber says about the album: "Love Like Blood serves as a companion piece to Flowers for Bodysnatchers seminal Dark Ambient album Aokigahara. In this album we explore the haunted tale of despair of love lost, found and lost again. Our protagonist's journey from the previous album is a shadowy narrative walking hand in hand with the fatal attraction that is Aokigahara. The album revisits the lonely intricate piano movements, soundscapes and field recordings compiled while exploring the underworld that is Tokyo.
