The mysterious Italian black metallers Obscure Devotion will release their new monolithic album entitled Ubi Certa Pax Est on 26th March via Dark Horizon Records in USA and through Third I Rex Records in Europe.
Obscure Devotion were born in 1996 and have released so far three studio albums. This is not another conventional black metal band, aiming to pointless fast drumming and mindless riffing. We are in front of a multifaced reality which has been able to channel in its new opus an outstanding and intriguing mix of black, death and post metal. By rejecting the idea to fall into abused solutions, the band delivers in full an opus which dares whereas the Northern European sound has inspired others. Fueled by a pure "Italian approach" to extreme music, Obscure Devotion set their path for a personal and unique interpretation of the genre.
