UK based doom/death metallers Imindain will release their new album titled The Enemy Of Fetters And The Dweller In The Woods on 12th April via Japanese label Weird Truth Productions. Imindain features Cruciamentum member in their ranks and it's perhaps a darker, more atmospheric and definitely sorrowful version of what you are trying to imagine.
Imindain have a made a name for themselves as a premiere death/doom metal band. Each album is an oppressive slab of emotive and dark music, following the footsteps of the genre's greats such as Disembowelment, Thergothon, Worship and Winter. They return this year with a brand new release titled The Enemy Of Fetters And The Dwellers In The Woods which expands upon the foundation laid down with the earlier albums. Each of the songs are haunting and unique in their expressions and linger in the memory long after the album is over. The last song is a superb cover of one of Disembowelment's songs, done in their style with added atmosphere and emotive depth. This is definitely one of the finest albums in this style of the new year to be released on a legendary doom label, Weird Truth Productions. Listen to the whole album in the player below. Drums were recorded and mastered by Greg Chandler at The Priory Recording Studio, all other instruments were recorded by Dan Lowndes at Resonance Sound Studio. Link
