VAUTOUR - Debut EP Out Next Month

French outfit Vautour will release the self-titled new EP on 3rd of April delivering a frenzy electronic music out of the night life world which collides with the heaviness of a rock show. Vautour will release an EP that stands at the crossroads between electric and electronic music. First with some mainly instrumental drum'n'bass orientated tracks, and then with some industrial rock tunes with catchy hooks.
The three-piece act invites the listener in a cheeky universe. Their lyrics deal with anxiety and remorse induced by personal issues, yet it still encourages the people concerned to do their best to flee from those toxic feelings. The gloomy moods inspired by movies such as Freaks, Nosferatu, Psycho, PI... (which the band uses for video projections on stage) rotates with more catchy phases illustrated by colourful abstract patterns that confirm the confusion in one's mind, as when you're on drugs or in a dementia crisis, so as to provoke a break between conscience and a state of mind.
With a nonchalant attitude and make-up on their faces, the trio offers this EP live through an astounding production, still dwelling in a world where the loyalty level doesn't get much higher that the one of a scavenger. The band became known mostly because of their stunning visual and auditive live experience with curious characters in a performance including music, lights and video projections. Vautour already shared the stage with acts such as Carpenter Brut or Hacktivist. The EP is available for pre-orders at this location. Link
