ÖRTH - To Re-Release Nocturno Inferno Album

Norwegian legendary black metal band Örth will re-release their album, Nocturno Inferno, on 7th April via Satanic Art Media with distribution provided by Plastic Head Distribution. After 20 years, it is time to release this album again so it gets the attention it deserves. Nocturno Inferno breathes the black spirit from the early 90s. It's hypnotic and powerful and delivers the typical Norwegian sound. The re-release comes with a new, breathtaking concept artwork for every single track. For fans of Gorgoroth, Mayhem, Darkthrone, Emperor, Satyricon and all black metal bands from the glorious days!
Örth started as a one-man band in Bergen, Norway in 1992/93. After experimenting with different musical approaches, band leader V-Rex was joined by Ares (Aeternus, Gorgoroth, Immortal) on bass and Grim (Gorgoroth, Immortal, Borknagar) on drums. This trio recorded Nocturno Inferno at Grieghallen studios with Erik "Pytten" Hundvin in two sessions during October 1995 and February 1996. Due to delivery problems, the album was distributed just to a bunch of people back then, but those who got hold of it will never let it go. After Grim commited suicide in 1999, the band split up. V-Rex got the project up and re-named it Arvas on a later point. In the players below you can watch two video, the promo vide and what V-Rex (Arvas) had to say about Örth and Nocturno Inferno. Link
