Slovenian ambient/noise/drone act Cadlag released a new live album entitled Votivkirche via Pharmafabrik Recordings. This is a live recording of Cadlag's performance at Votivkirche cathedral in Vienna (Austria), on 24th May 2014. Cadlag released Votivkirche as a digital edition in December last year, but from now on is available as well on Blu-Ray disc. Cadlag is a project brought to the fore by members of PureH, Dodecahedragraph, TGWFYTD, Extreme Smoke 57 and Earslaughter. Their influences and output ranges from grindcore to live experimental music and electronic manipulations of sound, using both analog and digital means to compress the drone oriented grid-landscapes and cacophonic palletes of industrial sonorousness, overall fuelled with spasmodic eruptions and convolutions of noise-paroxysma-mathema-machinations. Their visual installation implements TV noise and VHS textures, tightened together with the massive building of overdrived walls of sound. Link
