Seattle's (USA) finest one man industrial/ambient/trip-hop act Impurfekt will release a split album, dreamcatcher: shared chapter, together with Alaskan idm/electronic/industrial act Static Logic. This album is a follow-up to two previous dreamcatcher albums released by Static Logic. The subject matter is dreams and the work is dark, aggressive and ominous.
The man behind Impurfekt, Aaron Russell, comments: "It was a pleasure working with Static Logic and I’m sure those of you who appreciate the darker side of music will enjoy it." The album will be released by CRL Studios and will be available as "name your price" digital edition on Bandcamp. A preview video of the upcoming split album is available in the player below.
In other news, Impurfekt is finalizing and will release this year a ten year anniversary collection. This will be a digital and physical release in the form of a limited 2-disc CD with 50 copies available. Link
