URARV - To Release New Mini Album In June, First Track Available For Streaming

Today, Svart Records sets 1st June as the international release date for Urarv's highly anticipated new mini-album entitled Argentum. Arising from the shadow of mental institutions and personal secret corners comes Norway's Urarv ("Ancient Heritage"), the new project spearheaded by avant-metal stalwart Björn Aldrahn Dencker of DHG, The Deathtrip and Thorns fame.
Argentum is the second runner-up from the unchartered mind of Urarv. The mini-album consists of six tunes that were recorded same time as Aurum. The band comments: "In the light of awareness, we realize that Argentum is the answer to the channeling of distress and a spirit asleep in the abyss of thoughts. With a slightly higher level of aggression and disharmonic overloads, we gladly put this demon in your lap for you to decode the way you best see fit. In the gray petrified waters of existence, we alternate our minds and conceive with great enthusiasm the energy that runs this machinery. In awe and in gratitude for your support, we are honored to present you Argentum."
Of course you can hear in Urarv's music elements of black metal, harsh vocals, but it's far away of just that, so, the best is to give a listen to the first revealed track, "Sannhet", out of the upcoming mini album, which can be heard in the player below. Link
