Autumn's Grey Solace - Monajjfyllen: When you think of ethereal music then the name Autumn's Grey Solace must come in mind. The duo from Florida are one of those special and unique acts in the ethereal/dark wave/dream pop/shoegaze waters that are many times noted as a fount of influence for many newcomers, and they are back with another dose of soul captivating songs. With full of splendor and fantasy alike soundscapes the new album can easily take you out of this time and place. Links: Facebook
Deathstars - The Perfect Cult: Hell opened its gates and black glitter fell from the sky and alas, The Perfect Cult was born. The Perfect Cult doesn’t bring anything new from the band's camp, as their distinctive sound is still based on the use of simplistic, but striking guitar riffs, mixed with quite a heavy use or keyboards. And of course, creating an atmosphere, no one else can: seductive, dark, striking and captivating. This release definitely marks a new point in the evolution of Deathstars, as the band showed us they still got it and can still deliver an album, everyone will be talking about. Read a review HERE. Diary Of Dreams - Elegies In Darkness: Elegies In Darkness inhales the thick air from the scorned mouth and exhales the multifaceted grandeur of internal affairs straight from the eyes with the bleakest of colors; one stare at the cover artwork will convince you. It's one of those albums that won’t rely upon hit-songs and highlights, after all it doesn’t stand in the light. It’s a soulful testimony and should be cherished as such through its whole duration in order to treasure everything it stands. Read a review HERE. Links: Website, Facebook
Lantlôs - Melting Sun: Melting Sun is one of those albums that speaks to the devoted listener only and his will to be just a bit escapistic. While being partialy soft and smooth, it is in its core very heavy and turbulent. Mostly slow to mid tempo paced song structures can be described as something between post metal and dream rock, yes you'll also notice some shoegaze moments, sludge elements and a trifle with ambient, but this is Lantlôs and all those who knew this band from before already know that they can expect something unique, something almost psychedelic. Naked Lunch - Beyond Planets: British pioneers of electro punk or sometimes noted as the fathers of gothic dance music are back with the album or better said a collection of new and old songs of the band. Of course, the old ones were reworked and got a contemporary sound, but there's still the old good charm in them. Naked Lunch with their third come back are in a solid form and Beyond Planets is an album for memoirs of dark electronic music. Read a review HERE. Links: Website, Facebook
Order Of Isaz - Seven Years Of Famine: Like a breeze of fresh air here comes Order Of Isaz, with an album which was in the making for seven long years. With all the melancholy and darkness that is incarnated in the very soul of Seven Years Of Famine, many solemn moments, catchy choruses, breathtaking atmospheric compositions, strong rhythms and captivating dynamic vocals, it paints a picturesque soundscape that unveils with every next note. It's a gothic metal/rock masterpiece by all means! Read a review HERE. Links: Website, Facebook
SadDoLLs - Grave Party: The band’s 4th studio release has a title, which does it justice. Each and every song is structured to fit just perfectly into a dark electro/goth club, where Goths and gravers would go for a bit of wacko dancing and light head banging. The energy of the album speeds from its beginning point and slowly climbs up towards the highlight, and then it starts falling down again, but nevertheless, SadDoLLs have taken and immense step further in their sound. Grave Party seems much more inspired and well balanced than anything they did before. Read a review HERE. Links: Website, Facebook
