Antimatter - The Judas Table:
Antimatter is back with a new very introspective album, The Judas Table. Most of the time Mick Moss and company sticks to the approved formula by using a multi-layered sound with heart breaking almost popy melodies, reverberate strong bass lines, smooth drums, gentle violin, absolutely fantastic keys that make the whole soundscape even gothier, in a short every single element is used with such a feeling and prudence. [Review]

Inkubus Sukkubus - Mother Moon:
After 27 years and recognizable sound, which elegantly combines goth rock with pagan ideas, the British trio has again offered us an odyssey through human nature, intertwining with the divine. Mother Moon delivers classical Inkubus Sukkubus, yet at the same time presents something fresh – the stripped down, acoustic version of their sound.

Magenta - Songs For The Dead:
Norwegian alternative/industrial rock ensemble crafted an overwhelming, emotional, passionate and profoundly ghastly album. With Songs For The Dead you will descend into a world of demons and with pleasure explore its insane darkness.

Nocturnal Depression - Spleen Black Metal:
French quartet under the name Nocturnal Depression, decided not to follow the "oh woe is me" trend of DSBM, but metamorphose the aesthetics of poems of great French poets into a sequence of mournful, obscure and heart-breaking songs. Spleen Black Metal is one of those albums that is fairly impossible to put into words, because its distinguishing, elegiac atmosphere is its strongest point and speaks for itself. [Review]

Salvation AMP - Earth We Walk Upon:
Handling guitar as their muse, Salvation AMP summon alternative rock, dark-tinged classic rock and new wave elements through their music but nevertheless they're craftily diluted in a patented lift-off mix. Specifically in Earth We Walk Upon, they've broadened their sonic palette in a subtle way and, additionally, their outstanding harmonic interplay has been brought to the next level. The nine tracks included in this record gel as housed in a single soaring melody that stirs soul through its intense longing and remembrance. [Review]

Sirenia - The Seventh Life Path:
Sirenia's typical melodic, rhythmic and groovy guitar riffing, beautifully combined and enhanced by the use of choirs, powerful orchestrations, delightful piano melodies and stunning Ailyn's clean vocals, counterpoised by Morten's profound growls, still build the core of The Seventh Life Path, its beauty lies in incorporating various elements of different metal styles and thus its explorative, even a bit experimental and pompous nature. [Review]

Troum & raison d'ętre - De Aeris In Sublunaria Influxu:
A collaboration between two of the best know names in the dark ambient and drone genres, both having long as illustrious careers, come together for a surprisingly meditative album. De Aeris In Sublunaria takes the listener on a journey deep into the depths of the subconcious using exquisite drones, textural layers, and organic field recordings to open the mind's eye.
