Newburgh, New York (USA) based multi-instrumentalist and solo artist JoeyDiabolic is premiering right here on Terra Relicta web magazine a new song and video "Save Yourself", which is an extraordinary cover of American industrial rock band Stabbing Westward's song. "Save Yourself" is taken from JoeyDiabolics new EP, Through Soundwaves Vol. 3, set to be released next week on 15th January. JoeyDiabolic is also known as the mastermind of industrial/gothic metal band Martyr Art, and under this name, the previous two Through Soundwaves volumes were released.
JoeyDiabolic comments about the track: ""Save Yourself" is a great song, resonates with a lot of people and it's most definitely a perfect fit in conveying my fan-fiction interpretation of the 'A Nightmare On Elm Street' story. The dichotic struggle between being "saved" while condemned to eternal damnation."
"Save Yourself" and as well the other songs on the JoeyDiabolic's new EP, Through Soundwaves Vol. 3, show his affinity for horror metal, as well for industrial driven rhythms and gothic atmospheres. It's catchy, throughout captivating and haunting as it needs to be if it can be counted as a tribute to the film A Nightmare On Elm Street.
Through Soundwaves Vol 3 features a variety of covers and original songs. One standout cover, beside Stabbing Westward's "Save Yourself", in particular, is White Zombie's "Creature Of The Wheel" (which you can hear over HERE). The new EP of JoeyDiabolic was completely produced, engineered, performed, recorded, edited, mixed and mastered by JoeyDiabolic at vindication sound design (Newburgh, New York) between January and December 2020. Now watch the video and give a listen to "Save Yourself", it's an industrial offering from an afflicted soul.
