Terra Relicta web magazine is proud to offer you an exclusive pre-release full album premiere of the new album, Mother Earth, by Florida (USA) based AntiMozdeBeast. This solo project by Gabriel Palacio binds elements of folk, rock, metal, industrial, aggrotech and electronic into the music. AntiMozdeBeast with his music tries to expose personal experiences of adversity, and complex relationships of religious concepts including God, good and evil, and the afterlife, through experimental soundscapes.
The album entitled Mother Earth consists of seven tracks and will be self-released tomorrow, on the 3rd of June. AntiMozdeBeast offers a powerful listening experience by creating a distinctive form of expression. Poignant and moving notions are presented in progressive experimental manners throughout each track on Mother Earth. The result is a fascinating artistic creation that is unafraid to venture into unsettling realms.
Gabriel Palacio comments: "The making of this album was inevitable. It is the following premise of both music and lyrics from my previous work. Mother Earth takes a slightly different approach then it's last albums while retaining the AntiMozdeBeast sound."
Mother Earth focuses on the spirituality of the individual as well as society and human history. With inspiration derived from Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie, Skinny Puppy, Cygnosic and more, AntiMozdeBeast finds his music manifests with a balance of sound, noise, and metal.
Gabriel Palacio adds: "Its underlying message is the spiritual battle mankind has faced from the beginning of our time. I delve into the human psyche, and reveals possibilities of another world that we cannot see feel or hear yet know exists.”
AntiMozdeBeast's sonic spectrum is weird, at first glance chaotic, it's noise, pitch-black darkness and chaos transformed into disturbing yet intense avant-garde order. Anguished and tortuous, sometimes blackened vocals, seen across the album including in "Balance Of War", bring a raw openness to the tracks. "Frozen Deity (Interlude)" deviates from the dark and harsh aspects with a temperament leaning towards the serene as orchestral instruments entwined with electronics. Phasing in and out, the track sees different sections emerge and fade as the piece develops with each new segment. Absolutely not for the faint-hearted. Listen for yourself and experience these intense, yet somehow cinematic, but chaotic moods!
