pMad - Exclusive Premiere Of New Single And Video "Horror"

Terra Relicta web magazine has teamed once again with the prolific Irish alternative/gothic rock artist pMad, and we are offering you an exclusive premiere of his brand new single and video "Horror". The new single by pMad, again self-released, is accompanied by the visual evidence of what the human race is capable of and will end inevitable horror.

pMad's follow up single to "Who Am I", "Medicine", "Broken", and "I Am" is "Horror" - pMad's take on the world and the future in front of us. As the planet's future, "Horror" is dark and brooding with the hint of possible hope. And like our planet's changes, there are two versions of events. Which path will you take?

pMad, a young solo project of a long-time musician Paul Dillon, has barely any stylistic boundaries. pMad's music is a smooth combination of various elements. It sounds fresh, but there are elements from the 80s new wave, post-punk, 90s alternative pop/rock, and, of course, gothic rock done in a modern way! His music is dynamic and catchy, with a haunting atmosphere and captivating drive.

Paul Dillon comments on the new single "Horror": The new single has two versions, a bit like the options we have, save our planet or not. If we do not start NOW, at the pace we are going - '40 years and hour' - we will not have much to save in a very short time! The single 'Horror' and its two versions are being released on 5 June to coincide with World Environment Day. The profits raised from the sale of downloads on Bandcamp will go towards an environmental charity. I have not named one yet as I have found it difficult to find one that just doesn't just take in huge funds and pay huge salaries to CEOs, Trustees and directors. I am open to learning more re actual charities that use their income from sponsorship, government funding, etc. for actually trying to say the planet and not just line their own pockets. We may or not believe in God, and we do not have to, in order to understand that what is happening today, God cannot save us. WE are melting polar ice caps faster than ever, temperatures are rising higher each year, species disappearing daily, and even if there is a God, would he trust us to save ourselves!! Can we trust the people that are supposed to protect us either? The video gives a stark vision of what WE, the human race, are doing to our home, planet earth! Would you like your own house to be destroyed like this? pMad is as much to blame as anyone but hopes to start with new rituals in my life. One little thing done by each person on the planet today is eight Billion not so little effects, then tomorrow WE do more and so on! WE must start today with ourselves and make the planet-saving acts we take individually, our ritual if we are to survive! WE are all to blame! What planet will we leave for our children and their children? So if you could purchase either version of "Horror" or both on Bandcamp from 5 June, we may be able to add to the coffers of a good charity and slow our planet's exit! You will also get two great tunes!!!"

"Horror" - the time for hiding behind the sofa as we try to conceal the Horror created by the human race is over. Action is required now before our inevitable self-destruction.

pMad's new offering, "Horror", is once again an original piece of dark music. This time he's inserting some minimal wave, psychedelia and eastern elements into his unique and well-produced rhythmic dark rock/post-punk, yet making it somehow enough interesting and catchy to keep your attention from start to finish. As said before, "Horror" comes in two versions; besides the original song, pMad created the beautiful remix version "Horror (hoMe mix)", which is even broodier. Now, give a listen to and watch the video "Horror" below. As well, welcome to listen to "Horror (hoMe mix)" right below it. And, if only you can afford it, donate something - it's for a good cause and will, in this case, most definitively go into the right hands. Thank you, and enjoy pMad's offerings!

"Horror" Lyrics
Heaven exists to ease our minds
The horror of our lives following me

Hatred melting, melting the seas
Hatred, hatred burning the trees

Oh Lord and the heavens above
Save me from the devil and the devil in me

Save me from myself their laughing at me
Save me from myself and the devil in me

All we touch just disappears
In God, God we trust
What trust has he got in us?
40 years and hour, burn in hell

Save me from myself and the devil in me
Save me from myself and the devil in me
Save me from myself their laughing at me
Save me from myself and the devil in me

(Horror, Horror brings us to the edge
Of this ritual life)

Oh Lord and the heavens above
Oh Lord and the heavens above
Oh Lord and the Devil in me
