Doom metallers Akem Manah have unleashed another haunting track and lyric video, "The Sleep Of Eve Saldana", from their forthcoming full-length, Threnodies, slated for release on 3 April via Black Lion Records.
"Eve Saldana sought eternity in love and beauty, but was betrayed and received suffering beyond reckon in a premature burial", the band comments. "Her 'sleep' is a liminal dream between death and awakening, her body decaying in the grave she had made. The track merges sorrow with horror, a keening for those who long for transcendence, yet are greeted by bleak persistence."
