San Francisco (USA)-based neoclassical dark ambient quartet Amber Asylum, who will release on 14 February 2025 via Prophecy Productions a new album entitled Ruby Red, just shared the second single from it. An eerie feeling of dark foreboding permeates the second single "Weaver". A visualiser of this haunting track is now available for streaming.
Frontwoman Kris Force explains: "In the track 'Weaver', we venture into the realm of women's rights and resilience with a tapestry of captivating vocal harmonies. Through intricate layers of sound, we weave a narrative of empowerment and strength, highlighting the indomitable spirit of women in the face of adversity. The song serves as a rallying cry for equality and justice, its melodic threads echoing the voices of those who refuse to be silenced in the struggle for liberation."
The upcoming album, Ruby Red, differs from its predecessor in the expansion of focus and depth. While earlier albums centred more on personal emotions, relationships, and journeys, Ruby Red broadens its scope to address global issues such as societal upheaval, war, and human rights. This album navigates both the personal and the global and aims to illuminate the seen and unseen forces that influence our shared reality.
