Darkgaze/depressive black metal tandem Austere has served a relentless new track, "Redolent Foulness", which is carried by surprisingly clean vocals. "Redolent Foulness" is the second advance single from Austere's upcoming album, The Stillness Of Dissolution, set for release on 6 June via Prophecy Productions.
Austere's drummer and vocalist Tim Yatras writes on behalf of the duo: "We wrote 'Redolent Foulness' as the final song for the album, and it explores some new musical territory for Austere. The song's lyrics deal with the running of time, paired with a realisation of life's insignificance. They convey the feeling that time is short, while being trapped by one's very own existence at the same time".
