Canadian industrial/metal/synth-pop artist Billie Rogue has just offered a new track, "Fireflower", commenting: "I wrote 'Fireflower' eight years ago, actually, after a fight with an ex. It made me think about my toxicity as a partner, and I wrote everything in one morning. I didn't record it until 2024 and finally, after graduating college, I started focusing on finishing this song again. I was very scorned by love and the original intention of 'Fireflower' was supposed to serve as a warning to other men that I'm psycho, but eight years is a long time and for the past three years I've been in a healthy relationship that's helped me blossom into a new woman. Though I don't see myself as the same person that wrote this song almost a decade ago, it's ultimately about growth and calling out your flaws". Link
