French atmospheric black metallers Cercle du Chêne stream the entirety of their debut album, Récits d'Automne et de Chasse, set for release on 21 March via Antiq.

Cercle du Chêne was co-founded in 2019 by La Griesche (Grylle, Tour d'Ivoire) and Hyver (Grylle, Véhémence, Hanternoz) with guests as Waldheim (Rauhnacht, Sturmpercht, Golden Dawn), Geoffroy Dell'Aria (Skyforger, Paydretz), and Sparda (Hanternoz, Créatures). After a first demo released in 2023, Première Rencontre, Cercle du Chêne comes back in 2025 with its first full-length.

Titled Récits d'Automne et de Chasse, Cercle du Chêne's debut album is based on epic tales of hunt seen through the eyes of animals. Musically, it mixes black metal with dungeon synth and epic choirs. Under a great oak, forest animals gather and tell each other news of the men's world; fairy tales, legends and epic poems come alive once more. Cercle du Chêne's Récits d'Automne et de Chasse is recommended for fans of Summoning, Stormkeep, and Véhémence. Link
