Canadian enigmatic goth/dark ambient act Cloven has signed a record deal with Wormholedeath Records and will release an EP entitled Twilight's Heart on 11 October. Cloven is not just a band but a transcendent musical journey, blending the raw intensity of black metal with the haunting melodies of darkwave, gothic, and ambient music. The name Cloven signifies both division and unity, reflecting the project's exploration of the human condition, the divine, and the eternal themes of love and separation.
The EP was self-released as a digital version in March and will now get its deserved proper release via Wormholedeath Records. Dave Bach, the creative force behind Cloven, shared his excitement about this collaboration: "With incredible respect and gratitude, I am happy to partner with Wormholedeath for the EP entitled Twilight's Heart. Twilight's Heart is the most mature work yet, compositionally, sonically, lyrically, and otherwise. It is a rumination on death, eternity, and love. It is entitled after the sigil of Cloven, a heart containing a multitude of stories, which is seen in the cover art."
Cloven is the solo vision of Dave Bach, who collaborates with a talented pool of guest musicians, adding layers of depth and diversity to the project's soundscapes. A new lyric video for the track "Love & Fire" has just been released; you can check it out below. As well you can listen to the entire EP. Link
