Los Angeles (USA)-based darkwave/synthpop artist Cuffed returns with an exciting reimagining of his haunting single "Visitors", by producer/artist Lay Your Ghost. "Visitors (Lay Your Ghost Remix)", breathes new life into Cuffed's original track. Expanding the sonic atmosphere and infusing it with a fresh perspective, the rework is less about altering the song's essence and more about reinterpreting it through a new lens.
Lay Your Ghost comments: "I loved this Cuffed single when it first came out and really enjoyed the atmosphere this song has. So when the opportunity of remixing was presented I was very excited to work on it. I approached it as more of a reimagining or as if I had the opportunity to produce the track. Overall, I enjoyed bringing a little bit of my style and vision to this already great song!"
The brainchild of musical polymath Tyler "Fournames" Fortney, Cuffed blends influences from Depeche Mode, Killing Joke, and The Sisters Of Mercy into his own haunting, synth-driven creations. With this remix, Lay Your Ghost amplifies the song's evocative melodies and brooding textures while maintaining its emotional depth and nostalgic undertones.
