Several iconic recordings from the extensive catalogue of German industrial metal legends Die Krupps have never been officially released digitally by Dependent Records. This unfortunate situation has finally been rectified, and the missing fan-favourite masterpieces are now available through streaming platforms and other digital outlets.
These digital reissues follow in the wake of the band's latest EP, Will nicht - MUSS! / On Collision Course, which had been created as a hand-numbered collectors' CD for their successful 45th anniversary tour, and will also be released as limited vinyl editions this December (for more information, follow HEREs).
Die Krupps' Jürgen Engler writes on behalf of the band: "We are delighted that all our studio albums are finally available on all major digital music platforms. We are aware that many of you have been eagerly awaiting this moment as long as we did. We have been asked countless times why some of our most popular works were not available online – and we would also have loved to get an answer to this question, which never came. Well, at least this is a thing of the past now. Our entire catalogue will be accessible for streaming. Please feel free to rediscover these albums and songs, listen to them all over again, and add them to your playlists. We sincerely hope that you will enjoy them as much now as you did back in the days!"
For 45 years, Die Krupps have been synonymous with innovation, energy and uncompromising attitude. What Jürgen Engler, the driving creative force and composer, and the visionary lyricist and sound artist Ralf Dörper have created is more than just music – it is a movement, a soundtrack for rebellion and change that has blurred the boundaries between EBM, industrial and metal. They are now joined by drummer extraordinaire Paul Keller and, as the latest addition, guitarist Dylan Smith, who is well-known from his time with the legendary The Sisters Of Mercy. Smith brings a breath of fresh air and a special dynamic to the group, taking the band's already powerful sound to a new level.
In 2025, Die Krupps celebrate this extraordinary anniversary with a new chapter in their remarkable history, and in 2026, their long-awaited new album will be released! Link
