Zombie‑driven gothic metal entity Dominum expand their catalogue with a new captivating hymn: "Dark Melodies" emerges as a haunting waltz‑time ballad, merging an eerie atmosphere, commanding vocals, and a sweeping melodic hook. The song marks the third cut from the forthcoming album Night Is Calling, set to descend upon listeners on 3 July under Napalm Records.
The release further underscores Dominum's firm presence within the contemporary metal landscape, where they continue to carve out a distinctive niche of theatrical horror aesthetics fused with arena‑ready hooks. "Dark Melodies" stands as yet another example of the group's ability to blend darkness, drama, and irresistible melody.
Dr. Dead on "Dark Melodies": "I never had a problem being alone. At least, I thought I didn't. But for some time now – far too long – I've been hearing these melodies. Always. They whisper in my mind, tugging at me, like a black shadow sneaking into my heart. Sometimes sweet, sometimes bitter, but always an unstoppable pull I cannot escape. Dark Melodies – they are there, even when no one else can hear them".
