Italian doom metal entity Doomraiser has unleashed an intense new single, "Last Christmas I Gave You My Death", from its forthcoming full-length, Cold Grave Marble, slated for release on 2 October through Time To Kill Records.
The band commented: "Death on Christmas Day is traumatic and destabilizing. On that special day, death is not contemplated. Christmas is birth, life, light and energy. For the loved ones who remain, death on this day changes the perspective of life and sweeps away that magic that has always gravitated around the festive period. Is it a joke of life, a freak of nature, an unexpected 'surprise'? Whoever passes away on Christmas Day is welcomed directly by the new, magical light of winter, they are embraced by a dazzling new cycle. Death on Christmas day is sacred and holy! 'Last Christmas I Gave You My Death' is a complex and macabre song, the most intricate and dynamic of the entire new album. The song is a vortex of riffs, kaleidoscopic melodies intertwine with each other until reaching the final electric funeral march!"
