Dark/gothic metal outfit Eleine takes fans into epic yet stripped-down soundscapes with the symphonic version of its "Promise Of Apocalypse" track. Wavering around Madeleine Liljestam's stunning vocal performance, it's strings and brass instead of bass, guitars and drums for a change, building the foundation of the second single from the group's anticipated new 5-track EP, We Stand United, scheduled for release on 5 September via Reigning Phoenix Music.
This new version additionally magnifies the core message of "Promise Of Apocalypse", which focuses on hope and renewal and is therefore a strong anchor for those who seem lost in challenging situations of body and mind.
Madeleine (vocals) and Rikard (guitar/vocals) recall the driving idea behind the song: "'Promise Of Apocalypse' was embraced by many fans and it was obvious to us that it deserved a beautiful symphonic version. When going through difficult times, including depression or maybe a rough temporary path - it's easy to feel that you lost track of life and time. The message behind this song rings true; If you're not happy where you are in life, it's time to make a change. It's maybe not obvious what you have to do - but a change has to be made for yourself!"
