Italian gothic-doom metallers Invernoir have presented the first track, "Shadow Slave", from their sophomore album, Aimin' For Oblivion, slated for European release on 27 September (4 October for North America and the rest of the world) via code666.

Formed in 1996 by members of Rome's flourishing local scene, Invernoir has shown a special talent right from the beginning with their striking debut EP, 2018's Mourn, combining the cherished atmospheres of 90s British doom with the more recent Scandinavian scene, managing the difficult feat of not sounding derivative at all. With its debut album in 2020, The Void And The Unbearable Loss, Invernoir received enthusiastic reviews and built a loyal fanbase.

Invernoir brings back to life the best 90s gothic doom with its upcoming stellar new album. Aimin' For Oblivion comprises seven tracks that will make dark metal hearts bleed with that irresistible balance between light and shadows. Invernoir's Aimin' For Oblivion is unmissable for old-school Anathema, Katatonia, and My Dying Bride fans. Link
