The UK-based electro/industrial entity Omen Code has unveiled "Tensor", a sinister and futuristic slice of electronic darkness. This final advance single paves the way for their debut album Alpha State, due out on 5 December via Dependent Records.
With Alpha State, Omen Code conjure a vision of tomorrow that is both grim and enthralling. Their sound is built upon the ruins of the past yet engineered for the dance floor of the present. The duo channel the cold precision of mid-tempo Front Line Assembly and the cinematic dread of John Carpenter’s electronic landscapes, weaving a sonic tapestry that resurrects the spectral aura of the ’80s while remaining unmistakably fresh.
Formed in London, Omen Code unites programmer and engineer Kevin Gould (formerly of Electro Assassin) with vocalist Agi Taralas (formerly of Our Banshee). Together, they craft a narrative of bleak futurism, where mechanical pulse and human voice collide in equal measure. Their earlier single, "Ultra Fear", already hinted at this uncompromising vision; "Tensor" confirms it.
The countdown to Alpha State has begun — and Omen Code’s future is one you cannot ignore. The previously released single "Ultra Fear" can be heard over HERE. Link
