Austrian post‑rock/post‑metal collective Our Ceasing Voice have revealed "Diamond Eyes", their first new track since 2017 and the opening chapter of a renewed creative era. The song arrives with an accompanying video and offers the first glimpse into the band's upcoming fourth full‑length, slated for release in autumn 2026 on Argonauta Records.
Founded in Innsbruck in 2006, Our Ceasing Voice have spent two decades shaping a distinctive sonic identity built on evocative vocals, expansive walls of sound, dynamic songwriting and meticulous musicianship. Over the years, the group have cultivated a loyal international following, surpassing half a million streams and bringing their immersive live performances to audiences across Europe, the United Kingdom and China.
With "Diamond Eyes", the band reconnect with the emotional intensity that has long defined their work, while embracing a heavier, more immediate approach. The track explores the fragility of life and those sudden, transformative moments capable of shifting everything in an instant.
Speaking about the song, guitarist and founding member Sebastian Obermeir comments: "Suddenly you realise how fragile and at the same time how meaningful everything is. That's the feeling we wanted to capture in this song".
Driven by soaring melodies, crushing dynamics and the unmistakable vocal performance of Dominik Dörfler, "Diamond Eyes" showcases a band continuing to evolve without losing sight of their core identity. The result is a powerful fusion of post‑rock, post‑metal and alternative rock, balancing vulnerability and intensity in equal measure.
Now featuring Sebastian Obermeir on guitars, Dominik Dörfler on vocals, Markus Rappold on drums and Jakob Schuierer on bass, Our Ceasing Voice enter their twentieth‑anniversary year with renewed energy and artistic vision.
Further details about the forthcoming record will be unveiled soon. Link
