Austrian dark post‑rock/post‑metal collective Our Ceasing Voice present their new single and official video “The Man You Wanted Me To Be”, alongside full details of their long‑awaited fourth studio album, The Origin Of Everything, due out 2 October via Argonauta Records.
“The Man You Wanted Me To Be” distils the emotional essence of the upcoming record — a meeting point between soaring melody and the heavier, atmospheric textures that have shaped the band’s identity. Vocalist Sebastian Obermeir describes the track as a reflection on the people who help define us: “A lot of this album is about finding yourself. ‘The Man You Wanted Me To Be’ acknowledges those who shape you simply by believing in who you already are.”
