With the festive season fast approaching, Prophecy Fest proudly unveils four new additions to its 2026 billing. In a unique collaboration, iconic vocalist Aaron Stainthorpe, keyboard maestro Mark Deeks, and cello sorceress Jo Quail will join forces to perform material from My Dying Bride, Arð, and Jo Quail's own repertoire.
When label and festival founder Martin Koller received the demo from rising Danish doom act Maunah, they were booked within hours — a rare and spontaneous decision. Meanwhile, Simone Salvatori, frontman of Spiritual Front, is set to perform solo in Balve next year — a notable departure from his usual ensemble work. Neun Welten will contribute not one but two special moments: a celebration of 20 years of Vergessene Pfade, and an exclusive metal set crafted especially for the occasion.
Festival founder Martin Koller shares his excitement: "We are thrilled to welcome more fascinating artists and friends of many years, who have offered to perform special shows to the programme of 2026. We are always working hard to present once in a lifetime experiences at Prophecy Fest and we sincerely hope you are as curious and filled with anticipation about these newly announced shows as we are".
The following acts have now been confirmed (in alphabetical order): Camerata Mediolanense, Dold Vorde Ens Navn, Dornenreich, Empyrium, Farsot, Klimt 1918, Maunah, Misþyrming & Nergal, Neun Welten, Paragon Of Beauty, Secrets Of The Moon, Simone Salvatori, Sleeping Pulse, Spiritual Front, Stainthorpe, Deeks & Quail, Sun Of The Sleepless, The 3rd And The Mortal, and Tiamat.
