Luxembourg-based atmospheric doom rock collective Ptolemea have released a haunting new video single, "Aqui, Ali, Acolá", another evocative glimpse into their forthcoming full-length, Kali, out on 6 November through Raging Planet Records.
Led by Priscila Da Costa, the commanding voice of Portuguese doom collective Sinistro, Ptolemea weaves crushing, doom-laden riffs with haunting vocals and cinematic textures. Their second full-length, and first for Raging Planet Records, Kali marks a new level of artistic maturity, plunging into darker, more introspective depths while remaining both devastating and transcendent.
Speaking about the single, Priscila shares: "My grandparents moved from Portugal to Luxembourg in the late '60s. I never lived in Portugal until a year ago, but at home we always spoke Portuguese, and that culture was always a strong presence. This song is about reconnecting with my roots and the courage it takes to move to another country or to return to your homeland".
In Spring 2026, Ptolemea will embark on an extensive European tour alongside folk-doom collective Sangre De Muerdago. Link
