Swedish doom/death metal entity Runemagick have presented their initial offering, "The Nocturnal Vigil", accompanied by a lyric video. The composition emerges as the opening preview from their upcoming new chapter, After Chaos: Nocturnal Vigil, due on 18 September through Hammerheart Records, arriving in deluxe 2‑CD and gatefold 2‑LP formats.
The band invite listeners to step away from the present moment and enter their death/doom/pagan realm. This is a solitary, immersive journey—one that rewards patience, contemplation, and repeated listening.
The record was mixed and mastered by Andy La Rocque (King Diamond, Lex Legion, Death) at Sonic Train Studios. Visual artwork was created by Pablo Robbio (Spectrum Art) and Danny Pham, with illustrations by Dísa Draugurinn, inspired by visions drawn from early demos and lyrical themes. Link
